Understanding Letterboxing.

I think it’s very important for people to understand this.

PS: Hello world! Long time no blog!

Shenanigans

I get the National Geographic Picture of the Day in my iGoogle and they are usually fantastic nature shots.  However, I can’t help but call shenanigans on this particular one.

Windy City Rollers.

Wish I had a better camera at a better vantage point to better capture the action from this all female roller derby league - but I did the best I could.

NASA readies Plan B for moon rockets

shuttleviews.jpg I find the headline for this NASA story to be incredibly misleading.  I thought we were going to get into some serious discussions about long-term space travel and the carnal nature of mankind (and I was hoping for an update in the FAQ).  Instead it’s just a bunch of hooey about rockets.

However, it’s a fascinating look at the future of NASA moon research.

Rock ‘n ROLL.

My brother and I went to an amateur wrestling match at a high school out in the suburbs to watch my brother’s coworker participate. He left us ringside tickets at the door and luckily I brought my Mino HD camera with me and caught some great footage. It was a great time - far exceeded expectations. Highlight of the night was the ’shopping cart match’ in which wrestlers wheel shopping carts full of their favorite weapons (ie. folding chairs, thumbtacks, barbed wire) out to the ring and have at it. Guitar + lighter fluid + spark = Rock ‘n ROLL!!
